Q & A with Dr. Bernard Langer
Dr. Bernard Langer (MD ‘5T6) is a former Chair of the Department of Surgery and one of the early experts in liver surgery. One of Dr. Langer’s many contributions is the creation of the Surgeon-Scientist Training Program, which provides research training for surgical residents interested in careers in academic medicine and fosters the development of surgical specialties.
